Cu Chi tunnel, Cao Dai Temple & Black Virgin Mountain full day tour

Tay Ninh province is approximately 90km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, or about two (2) hours by car. While most visitors to Viet Nam know about this vast tunnel complex and underground fortress, fewer people know the history and significance of the beautiful Black Mountain and the Cao Dai temples that reside nearby. This entire area and these sites are revered by the Vietnamese people, and have held and important place in their history, religion and hearts for centuries. No trip to Viet nam is complete without visiting these significant, beautiful and meaningful treasures.

Nui Ba Den (The Mountain of the Black Virgin) has a unique aura of power and mystery. It is a green tree-covered mass of granite that rises 3,000 feet up out of the rice fields and jungle and into the clouds. Pilots who have had the rare privilege of flying over Black Mountain, when it is briefly free of clouds, comment upon the strange feeling it stirs inside of them.

7:00 a.m. Depart hotel with Tiger Guide; private car to Cu Chi Tunnels.
8:30 a.m. Arrive Cu Chi Tunnels, followed by the tunnels themselves. You will have a chance to experience the real tunnel as well as learn the history during the Vietnam war.
10:30 p.m. Depart the Cu Chi Tunnels to Cao Dai temples in Tay Ninh province.
12:30 p.m. Depart Cao Dai temples to local restaurant for lunch. At the local restaurant, you can have a spectacular lunch with different kinds of food in a special style and a beautiful view.
1:30 p.m. Depart to Black Virgin Mountain. Arrive Ba Den pagoda by cable car. The view is breathtaking, and you will be surrounded on both sides by mango trees and woodland flowers. There are two more pagodas above the main pagoda. If you accept the mountain's challenge and hike up even higher, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of Tay Ninh province.
3.00 p.m. Depart to Ho Chi Minh City.
6:00 p.m. Arrive HCMC; return to hotel with Tiger Guide.
